- 01Do I need an account?
- No account, ever. Your recipes, plans and lists stay on your device and sync through your own iCloud if you have it enabled.
- 02How does Millo calculate nutrition?
- Each ingredient you want counted is linked to a food in a nutrition database, then converted to grams and scaled from its per-100 g facts. Totals add up per serving, per meal and per day, and anything estimated is clearly flagged. See the Per-serving nutrition feature for the full picture.
- 03What is the batch ingredient editor?
- It gathers the same ingredient from across all your recipes into one bucket — even when it's spelled differently — so you can rename, categorise and link it once and have the change apply everywhere.
- 04Do the AI features send my data anywhere?
- The on-device assistant, Generate and Convert, sends nothing anywhere: it runs locally with Apple Intelligence and needs iOS 26. Separately and optionally, you can build recipes or a whole meal plan with a third-party AI like ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude and import the result; that path shares only what you choose to paste into that AI.
- 05Which devices are supported?
- iPhone on iOS 18 or later, with an Apple Watch companion on watchOS 11 or later for the shopping list.
